Sometimes the unique design of a gift pleases the giver as much as the gift itself. After all, as it is known: "You meet people by their clothes...". And if you are bored with the usual gift bags and gifts wrapped in shiny paper with a bow, it's time to create a bright and memorable packaging yourself.
For holiday wrapping we will need:
1. Cardboard size A3.
2. Brightly colored cotton fabric, about the same size.
3. PVA glue or torque.
4. Ribbons and bows.
5. Lace 70 cm.
6. Ruler and pencil.
We will not go into the details of drawing science, the most important thing is that the result should be as shown in the figure. You may have to work a little harder, as it is not always possible to get completely on the sheet of paper from the first time. In the future, you can create a special stencil for this purpose.
So, when the drawing is finished, you need to cut it out of the paper and with the help of a ruler fold all future folds. If the fabric is thick, it will be more difficult to do it later. On a well-ironed fabric, we apply the paper base. If everything is satisfactory, apply glue to the paper and attach it to the fabric.
A few words about glue. If you are in no hurry, you can use PVA glue, it takes a long time to dry, glues well, but it will leave visible streaks on light-colored fabric. If you do not want to wait, use quick-drying glue. The main thing is that it should be transparent.
When our blank is dry, you need to cut it out. Then fold a piece of cake and glue the joints, leaving the top cover untouched. There we will put the gift itself. Naturally, the gift should be no bigger than the package.
Take the lace, which should also be ironed beforehand. Fold it in small folds and stitch along the edge.
Put the lace on the top edge of the cake, so that all of it was on top, and only the stitched edge lay on the workpiece. We will glue it on. Let the product dry and bend in the desired direction. We get an edge imitating whipped cream.
All that's left is to decorate the piece. Here everything depends on imagination and creative fantasy. You can make flowers from ribbons or arrange real buds attached to small pins.
