In this master class we will tell you how to make tulips from corrugated paper.
You can make beautiful tulips out of corrugated paper of different colors. You can put one small candy in their core and present such an original homemade gift to the ladies for the spring holiday.
Step 1.
Corrugated paper of the chosen color should be folded several times. The shape of the petals should be cut out so that they stretch along the vertical fibers of the paper. The recommended number of petals is six pieces. You can change this number, if you wish, both upward and downward.
Step 2.
Stretch each petal separately vertically. Carefully give the shape of a boat. If the paper does not stretch and tears, it means that the parts were cut incorrectly, i.e. along the fibers of corrugated paper.
Step 3.
The supposed base of the petal should be squeezed with two fingers and twisted into a flagellum. Do the same with all the petals.
Step 4.
All six petals need to be stacked on top of each other in the shape of a tulip. Each petal should overlap the neighboring petal. Glue all the petals together at the base.
Step 5.
Depending on the desired stem length, you will need to choose a skewer or toothpick. It should be wrapped in green corrugated paper and inserted into the base of the tulip.
Step 6.
Cut out two tulip leaves from corrugated paper. Give them the desired shape by bending them in half lengthwise. Glue the leaves to a toothpick wrapped in paper.
You can make a whole composition out of the obtained flowers. If you use skewers tulips can be put in a vase, if toothpicks, you can show imagination and get a wonderful bed of tulips in an ordinary small pot.
