Snow Maiden from colored paper

New Year 2016 is just around the corner! This means that it's time to wait for the New Year miracle and prepare for its meeting: decorate the house with all kinds of toys and Christmas trees, as well as make beautiful paper crafts with children. In the New Year's Eve period you can make a Snow Maiden, which will decorate the table of your child or cozily nestle under a small Christmas tree.

Materials needed:

[INDENT]- colored paper (white, blue and yellow);
- shaped scissors;
- scissors with a simple blade;
- plastic eyes;
- stapler and staples;
- black marker;
- red felt-tip pen;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- glue

Stages of making a paper Snow Maiden:

1. Granddaughter of Santa Claus will have a blue coat. That's why we will take half-cardboard or paper of this color for its making. Measure horizontally 12 cm and vertically 8 cm.

2. Cut out with scissors.

3. Staple the edges of the rectangle to form a tube. This will be the base for the Snow Maiden's torso.

4. Cut a circle out of white paper.

5. And from yellow - hair. It is necessary to cut out a long braid for the Snow Maiden.

6. Glue the hair to the head.

7. Use a black marker to draw wavy lines on the yellow paper.

8. Now glue plastic eyes and draw all the features of our Snow Maiden's face.

9. Glue the head with a slash to the torso.

10. Continue making the coat. To do this, cut out two strips of white paper.

11. With the help of shaped scissors we will make on one strip beautiful edges on both sides, and on the other strip - only on one side.

12. Glue a strip with two wavy edges in the center.

13. Attach another strip along the bottom edge.

14. Cut out mittens from white paper. With a black marker draw snowflakes on them and mark two lines near them. These will be the hands.

15. Cut a triangle out of blue paper and a small circle out of white paper. Glue the circle to the end of the triangle. This will be a New Year's hat. Attach it on the inside of the torso.

16. From a small piece of white paper we will make a fringe for a New Year's hat. It is simply necessary to decorate its sides with scissors with wavy blades. Glue.

17. At this point our beautiful and cute Snow Maiden from colored paper is ready! After that it would be good to make her a Santa Claus.
