Simple and colorful Christmas card with a Christmas tree

The New Year is upon us, and the question of preparing gifts is becoming more and more acute. If you decide to try your handicrafts and have fifteen minutes of free time, you can surprise your loved ones with an original New Year card made by your own hands. The idea of this card is surprisingly simple, so you can safely recommend it even to children.

To create a simple and bright New Year's card, you need to prepare such unpretentious materials:

Colored paper and colored cardboard
Scissors
Glue
Stapler
And all sorts of decorative things as embellishments (beads, buttons, sequins, bows, etc).

The base of the card will be a sheet of colored cardboard A-4, folded in half. Inside you need to glue a rectangle of colored paper, a little narrower and shorter than the back of the card. This will be the field for your congratulations. On the outer part of the card also glue a smaller rectangle of colored cardboard.

To decorate in the form of a Christmas tree you will need a small sheet of soft green cardboard, which should be folded into an "accordion" and staple its top part with a stapler. Then you should carefully apply glue to the "folds" of our Christmas tree and attach it to the card.

When the glue dries a little, you can decorate the top of the forest beauty, using, for example, a bow for gift wrapping. Beads or buttons can play the role of Christmas tree toys, and the empty space around the tree will be filled with bright glitter.
