There was a Christmas tree at the edge of the forest. It was beautiful and attracted a lot of attention. A bunny would run up and hide under it from the rain, a fox would lie down and rest under it on a hot day, and birds would sing melodious songs around it on a spring day. But winter came and brought snow. And here stands a Christmas tree on the edge of the forest all so beautiful and snowy....
Today we will make with our hands a handicraft in the form of a Christmas tree, which will decorate the coming New Year holidays.
To make this handicraft Christmas tree we will need these materials:
- red paper for the top of the Christmas tree;
- Three shades of green paper or half-cardboard for the Christmas tree;
- some medical absorbent cotton;
- A large plastic lid (from yogurt or sour cream);
- white gouache;
- brush;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- toothpick or wooden stick.
Stages of making crafts for the New Year:
1. Our Christmas tree will have three shades of green foliage. Therefore, we will have to use 3 sheets of paper in the work. We cut out squares of two pieces of different sizes. We start with a dark green tone square with a size of 5 x 5 cm and smoothly move to a light shade of 1,5 x 1,5 cm. The more elements you have, the better!
2. Thread all the parts of the Christmas tree onto a wooden stick or toothpick. Start, of course, with the largest ones.
3. Thread all the paper squares through the stick.
4. Take a clear plastic yogurt or sour cream lid. Use a sharp object to make a hole in the plastic lid. Put a toothpick or a twig with green squares through it. If necessary, fix the Christmas tree with glue.
5. Decorate our Christmas tree with the top in the form of a red star. Cut with scissors from red half-cardboard.
6. Apply glue to the star and glue to the pointy end of the toothpick.
7. With white gouache we'll cover our Christmas tree with snow. To do this, use a brush to take a little paint from the can and apply it to all the edges and corners of the green leaves of the tree.
8. Next, glue or place pieces of absorbent cotton over the entire surface of the lid.
9. Our Christmas tree in snow made of paper and absorbent cotton is ready! And here comes Santa Claus running to the snowy forest beauty to put a present under it.
