Master class. Bird from colored paper

Try to make this craft with your child. It is bright, interesting and original. And this paper bird is also useful! Because it can store various valuable things. To do this, you just need to make a paper tray at the bottom.

Materials needed:

[INDENT]- white, peach, yellow, soft green, lettuce and green double sided half board;
- stationery glue;
- a simple pencil;
- black marker or felt-tip pen;
- scissors with a wavy blade;
- regular scissors;
- ruler[/INDENT]

The stages of making a bird:

1. As a basis for making an exotic bird, let's take one of the shades of double-sided half-cardboard. For example, soft green. Cut out a rectangle with sides 15 x 9 cm.

2. Take a simple pencil and a ruler and draw horizontally the necessary dimensions, namely 2 cm, 5 cm and 1 cm. The first two alternate with each other twice. Draw vertical lines with a pencil.

3. Make folds along the marked lines.

4. Apply glue and join the ends together. You will get the body of our exotic bird.

5. Now let's start making the wings. Cut out a rectangle of 17 x 6 cm from the lettuce half-cardboard and a rectangle of 13 x 6 cm from the green half-cardboard.

6. Draw lines with a simple pencil as shown in the photo.

7. Remove excess corners with ordinary scissors.

8. Take scissors with a wavy blade and make beautiful lines for the wings.

9. Glue the green wings onto the lettuce wings.

10-11. Put stationery glue in the middle. Take a blank of the bird's body and put it on the wings.

12. Make the bird's eyes. To do this, take white double-sided half-cardboard and cut out two circles. Draw pupils on each circle with a black marker. Glue the eyes to the body.

13. Now it's time for the bird's belly. Let's make it multicolored. To do this, take three shades of double-sided half-cardboard, namely: lettuce, peach and green. Cut out semi-ovals from them.

14. The largest section will be the green one. Glue the peach one on top of it.

15. Then glue the lettuce half-oval onto the peach half-oval. The belly is ready.

16. Glue it on the body of the bird in the middle.

17. Making the beak. Cut out a small rectangle 4 x 1.5 cm from yellow double-sided cardboard.

18. Fold the segment in half and draw a triangle with a simple pencil.

19. Go through the scissors along the marked lines.

20. Glue the finished beak to the bird.

21. Cut out paws from yellow double-sided half-cardboard.

22. Glue them on the torso at the very bottom.

23. Now we make a small crest. To do this, take green half-cardboard and cut out small feathers.

24. Glue one on top of the other.

25. Our exotic colored paper bird is ready!
