Making a dog "Dachshund" from colored paper

Dachshunds are friendly and lovable animals. They belong to the breed of hunting dogs. Their distinctive feature is their elongated body and short legs.

Materials needed to make a doggie:

Manufacturing Stages:

1. As the main material for creating a dachshund we will need a colored double-sided half-cardboard. The color can be any color. If you choose black, brown and red shades - the doggie will look more realistic. And if you make a craft from colored paper of a bright shade, you will get a circus dog or a new character from a fairy tale.

In this case, yellow colored paper was used.

2 Cut out a rectangle from yellow double-sided half-cardboard. The longer it is horizontally - the more elongated the dachshund's body will be.

3. Roll the piece vertically to make a tube. Use a stapler with staples to secure it.

4. From the same sheet of yellow half-cardboard cut out 2 pairs of legs, head and tail of the dog.

5. Glue the paws on the sides. Now our dachshund will be able to walk and run after the ball.

6. To attach her tail to the body - it is necessary to make a small cut with scissors from the back side.

7. Insert it into the gap. Now the dachshund has a tail, which it can wag merrily at the sight of its owner.

8. Draw small features on the dog's face with a black marker. Colored pencils, felt-tip pens, and gel pens are suitable for this purpose.

9. Glue the eyes on both sides. The head is ready!

10. Make a scissor cut on the opposite side of the tail and also on the head itself between the ear and the face.

11. Insert. Stick the ear up.
