How to make an inscription out of colored cardboard

When a big day is approaching, you want to make it special. The stores don't always have what you need. You can try to do a lot of things with your own hands. So let's make the right inscription for the holiday in just 10 minutes.

Materials:

- hole punch
- scissors
- ribbon
- simple pencil

On colored cardboard, draw the letters we will need for the greeting. Draw on the back of the cardboard. Write the letters in mirror, otherwise they will look backwards when we cut them out.

Step 2

Use a hole punch to make holes for the ribbon. Adjust the number of holes depending on the letter. Burn the ends of the ribbon and thread it through the holes. Knot the tails of the ribbon. You can tie beads to keep the ribbon from slipping out.

The lettering can now take its place on the party. Depending on the theme of the party, you can glue different shapes on the letters, such as flowers, hearts, butterflies and so on.
