And here to create such spectacular flowers will help our today's photo lesson.
To begin with, the necessary material and tools should be prepared:
- yellow colored crepe paper;
- dark green colored heavy paper;
- light green crepe paper;
- floral wire;
- glue stick or PVA glue;
- a simple pencil;
- scissors
Step 1
On a piece of crepe paper of yellow color draw an outline of the main petals of iris.
After that, fold the ribbon six times and carefully cut out the contour of the petals.
That's how we got six blanks.
Step 2
Next, you need to stretch each petal by making a depression in the center.
Do the same steps with the remaining five petals.
Step 3
Then prepare a small piece of florist wire, glue stick and crepe paper in a yellow shade.
Wrap more paper around the tip of this wire and then give the base a rounded shape. Brush the entire surface of the workpiece with glue.
Step 4
Next, glue the first petal to the base of the iris.
Then glue on two more petals.
This is how we created the inner tier of petals.
Step 5
Now glue the other three petals as follows.
When the glue is completely dry, spread the bottom three petals by turning them outward.
Step 6
Use the crepe paper tape to decorate the stem of the iris. Start by decorating the base of the bud and continue to the end of the stem.
Step 7
Now go back to the base of the bud and wrap more crepe paper around it. Twist the end of the ribbon a little and fix it with glue.
Step 8
Now we are going to create iris leaves. Cut a strip of green double-sided paper.
Step 9
Draw the outline of the oblong leaves on a piece of paper and then cut them out.
Give them a more natural shape by curving the leaf blanks with scissors.
Step 10
Next, apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the leaves, and then glue them to the iris pedicel.
That's it, our corrugated paper irises are ready!
It remains only to place them in a vase and decorate your interior with these flowers.
