1. Prepare the paper for work and choose one or more leaves to work on. You can make a caterpillar of a single color, but it is even more interesting to combine different shades. For example, you can choose several colorful fragments and assemble them. Start with a dark purple color, gradually add lighter shades until you reach white. There is a mosaic modeling, which will be very interesting to collect children. The lesson can be considered educational.

2. Create the links for the body of the caterpillar. These will be simple round pieces of the same size. You can use not only solid-colored paper, but also sheets with some ornaments. If the paper is too soft, then glue each circle on a dense cardboard, cut out the circumference. You need to make a strong bookmark that will not bend.

3 Now glue all the circles together. You can glue a rectangle of cardboard underneath to add even more rigidity to the bookmark. The strip will become a kind of frame for fastening. Glue the circles not in one even line, but zigzag, shifting the parts in different directions.
