Gradually complicating the task of modeling, consider another model of manigami - a dove. Of course, taking into account the most complex figures that can be found on sale, such as a dragon or a dinosaur, figures of animals and people, this craft is quite simple, although the process of its fulfillment is somewhat complicated.
The dove is a bright bird of peace, which is considered by all peoples as a symbol of happiness and clear sky overhead. To make a solar figure, consider the stages of its modeling. The process is reproduced on the bill, so you have every chance to get your own handmade little talisman, which is sure to bring peace and tranquility to the family.
Only a money bill was used to create a small fluttering dove using the manigami technique.
How to make a manigami dove figurine
1. All bills have a rectangular shape, so it does not matter to us what denomination it will have. Prepare the money for work.
2. Highlight the center line in the rectangle by simply folding the bill across. Begin lowering down first one side, then the other. As you lower down each side, clearly dock the side with the center. And the new crease, use your fingers to tuck it in.
3. Lower the other side onto itself and you have a tent.
4. Turn the piece over. Let the sharp corner remain at the bottom. You will see a triangle in front of you, with 2 sides peeking out from underneath - the former narrow sides of the money rectangle. Start bending them down, clearly aligning them with the side of the triangle.
5. Lower down the 2 tabs in exactly the same way.
6. Now unfold the paper back to its original position. But it won't take long - you will soon need to fold it back along the lines you have drawn.
7. Return one corner to its place, but leave the strip bent at the top on the inside, not clinging to the outside as before.
8. Fold the second corner in the same way.
9. Leave the resulting triangle with the right angle down. Lower, docking it, one sharp side first.
10. Then absolutely the same way - the other side.
11. Now you have a small square, which consists of several corners. Lift the top 2 corners up again, but not completely, but only to the middle. Connect the sharp ends with the top straight corner in the resulting square design.
12. Lift up the 2 adjacent corners in exactly the same way. Make a crease in the center and tuck it in with your finger.
13. Unfold the previous folding. But leave the square in its original position without turning it over. Fold the 2 side opposite corners toward you. Bring them together at one point in the center.
14. Then, guided by the resulting folds, push the side corners inwards as if to press them in. Fold them over to start with, then lift the top layer. With your finger, press the paper inside first on one side and smooth out the sharp corner.
15. Then bring the second corner inside. Smooth the whole construction. The side corners will remain inside, the paper will be folded in several layers. Now the shape no longer looks like a square, but like a hexagon, squeezed from both sides.
16. Fold the resulting hexagon in half lengthwise so that the previously marked sharp corners remain on the two outer sides.
17. Position the trapezoidal workpiece so that the parallel sides are at the top and bottom. The smaller side is at the top. Put the upper corner down, it will be located as if at an angle. This will turn out to be a kind of bird's wing.
18. Lower the second wing in the same way - the dove will have 2 identical wings. Now you can turn the whole construction with the wings facing up.
19. Press both sides inward. On one side show a small head with a beak, on the other side show a tail down. Unfold the piece as shown in the photo.
Origami dove from a bill is ready. This is a kind of money symbol, it can be given as a gift for Peace Day, Mother's Day or any other holiday.
Thank you for sharing this, it taught me a lot.
