Applique for Teacher's Day

If you want to interest the child in September, something to diversify his leisure time, make some school-themed crafts. Summer seems to children quite dolim, despite the fact that this is the most fun and carefree time, subconsciously schoolchildren still miss their classmates. School has its charms, and to remember about it will help this kind of crafts.
We suggest you consider a simple but interesting postcard for Teacher's Day. It is better to make it in late summer or early fall to prepare for the holiday in advance. Before this event, the teacher will probably ask to bring some student masterpiece to the exhibition. To make an applique in no time, use all kinds of school-themed clippings from magazines, newspapers or old notebooks. The idea proposed in this master class is such that it involves creating a collage-like applique and different elements of similar school themes.
What you need to prepare to create school-themed applique:

• A set of paper and cardboard;
• Magazine clippings in the form of a briefcase, leaves, a stack of books, and various school supplies;
• Scissors;
• Glue;
• A marker or a pen;
• A notebook;
• Watercolors.

Cut out a rectangle from the cardboard.

Paint a background of a bright color. Use water and a brush.

Cut out the appropriate details from the magazine. In this case, the school theme must be present. But we celebrate Teacher's Day in the fall, so it is not forbidden to set and autumn theme, depicting yellowing leaves, umbrellas, clouds and so on.

If you can't find ready-made leaves, just draw them on paper and cut them out along the outline. This will be even more interesting. It is not difficult to make all the other fragments yourself.

When the paint on the surface of the sheet is dry, start attaching details to the base, create a collage. Cut a rectangle from a notebook sheet, write "Happy Teacher's Day" on it. Glue in the central part of the application, it is desirable to shift the surface drawing at an angle. Glue a bunch of leaves with a sun on one side.

On the opposite side, glue everything you prepared: drawings of satchels, umbrellas, books and pencils.

Complete the applique with butterflies. They can flutter everywhere. This will add a festive mood and lightness to the handicraft. The resulting collage is an applique for the teacher.
