1. Prepare the necessary materials for work. Of course, all the colors of paper used should be bright. For example, you can choose red cardboard for the background. Figures we will depict on leaves cut out of paper, so we will need green paper. Double-sided foam tape will make the application volumetric and more interesting, and a pen is needed to write all the numbers on the leaves.

2. On the back of the green paper, draw the outline of a leaf and cut out the outline with scissors. Then, putting the first finished leaf repeatedly to the paper as a template, cut out all the other parts. Since we will represent the numbers from 1 to 5, we will need 5 identical leaves of green color. To make it easier for children to orient themselves in counting, make circles of any color, for example, blue. Draw 1 circle, then 2 circles, 3 circles and so on up to 5.

3. Cut out the blue pieces. You will have 5 pieces in total. The first piece will be the smallest in length, the last one will be the longest, consisting of 5 circles. Glue the green leaves on the prepared brightly colored cardboard. With a pen write numbers in English on each of them: one, two, three, four, five.

4. Next to each numeral, glue squares cut from foam double-sided tape. The number of squares should also correspond to the numeral, so that you can glue the circles on later.

5. Glue the prepared circles onto the sticky part. Now you have a clear application consisting of two parts. The first part is green leaves with English numerals on them, the second part is circles, the number of which corresponds to the numerals written on the leaf.

You can learn colors or the name of geometric shapes in the same way, all things that children learning English or any other language need to know.
