The "Butterfly" application is available for preschoolers of middle and senior kindergarten groups and younger schoolchildren. Fine motor skills, imagination, skill with scissors and glue - all this will come in handy to create a colorful picture. For preschoolers you can prepare in advance a template of a butterfly and decorative elements for gluing, then they will not have to use scissors, and work only with glue. Older children should be given the opportunity to do everything themselves.

To make a butterfly like this, we'll need:
- butterfly template;
- colored cardboard (black and light);
- colored paper;
- scissors;
- glue;
- a black pen or a felt-tip pen;
- sequins and glitter for decoration - as desired.
Cut out a white butterfly template.

You can print out any template of your choice, such as this one:

Or this one:

Now let's cut out the chosen template:

Take black cardboard or paper, turn it white side up and trace the outline of the butterfly template onto the back of the black cardboard with a pen or pencil.

Cut out the "black" template of the butterfly, this is its base. The white template will be useful for creating decorative elements for the wings.

You can sketch a pattern on the wings to make it easier to bring the idea to life.

Select colored paper for decorative elements. In contrast to black - bright and light colors.

Notch the white template from the edge of the wing to the base of the butterfly. This will make it easier to trace around them to create decorative elements.

Alternately trace each part of the wing onto different colors of paper.

Fold the paper with the outlined element in half. Cut inside the outline to make the element a little smaller (to make it clear, it is marked with a dotted line on the photo).

Cut out all the elements one by one in this way.

Then glue the decorative elements on the base of the butterfly, and its itself - on a light-colored cardboard. Draw the antennae.

You can decorate the butterfly with sequins and glitter. Cut and glue additional circles, curls - it all depends on your imagination.
