How to make a dove with your own hands step by step
1. Since we need to create a white bird, the paper used for work should also be white. The main part will be made of cardboard. It is dense paper that is needed. The wings and tail will be made of soft corrugated paper.
2. Draw the outline of the dove on the cardboard, but without wings and tail, the back part can be pointed. Cut out the outline.
3 Draw an eye and beak on the head. If you have double-sided cardboard, draw the same on the back side. If the sheets are one-sided, cut out the same blank on the other side and glue them together. If you plan to hang the figure from a chandelier or from the ceiling, it should be double-sided.
4. Cut white corrugated paper into rectangular pieces of any width and length.
5. Cut each prepared rectangle in the form of a fringe, as shown in the photo. That is, on one side of the paper, do not reach the end of the paper with the scissors.
6. Take a couple of rectangles to create the wings. Cut at an angle on both sides. Then take each section of fringe with your fingers and twist into a thin flagellum. But twist only the outer ends, not the entire length of the fringe.
7. Twist all the fringe pieces on both sides in this way. Make a cut in the cardboard part of the dove. Insert the wings into the hole. Pull the corrugated parts through to about the middle. Straighten the wings, they should be puffy.
8. In addition, make fringe details, twisted at the ends, for the tail. Fan the tail and glue the base to the back of the dove. Also fluff the tail.
The planned craft from paper - dove, symbolizing a peaceful sky - is ready.
