For Teacher's Day, it is nice for children to make some impressive souvenir with their own hands and receive praise for their efforts and labors. This is exactly the kind of reward they expect. The proposed application is a touching gift from the class, the card is decorated with funny faces. Of course, we do not call for drawing caricatures of every student, ridiculing far-fetched shortcomings. But if you want to, you can reproduce the features of each student on paper: someone has a unique hairstyle, someone has a funny nose or an unusual cut of the eyes. All this can be shown on paper, then cut out decorative elements. A real good teacher will definitely appreciate the gift that his favorite students will make for him. We offer in this lesson to consider the technique of making an interesting postcard for Teacher's Day.
Materials to create a postcard:
- white, blue heavy paper;
- blue and black markers;
- orange, red thin paper;
- scissors;
- glue.
How to make a Teacher's Day card step-by-step
1. For the base of the card, as well as cutting out fun faces, it is better to take dense cardboard. Even unusual texture for small additional details, simple sheets of colored paper for children's art will do.

2. Take the base for the card. For example, make the white sheet the bottom part, fold it in half to write something inside. Blue paper cut out a slightly smaller size. This will be the backing for attaching decorative elements.

3. Glue the blue piece onto the white piece and carefully smooth.

4. Now comes the most interesting work. Draw some faces on white cardboard (you can also use beige or pink cardboard, if you have such cardboard available). If you do not know how to draw, it is enough just to draw round faces and, focusing on the well-known smiley faces, create facial features. After that, add funny hairstyles: for girls all sorts of braids and ponytails, for boys - short bangs and ears and so on. All faces can be positive and must be smiling.

5. Cut out all the prepared images along the contour. If you use a black marker, all details will look expressive.

6. Glue the prepared decorative elements in different places on the card, but it is desirable to do it along the contour. Add small brightly colored bows to the girls' pigtails and ponytails.

7. In blue or some other marker write Happy Teacher's Day greetings or use a template inscription printed on a printer, children's stickers and so on.

8. Use orange or yellow paper to make some maple leaves. First draw the leaves with a simple pencil on a piece of paper, then cut them out.

Glue the leaves on the empty spaces between the children's heads to fill the card. Since we celebrate Teacher's Day in October, the leaves are relevant at this time of year. Also, the postcard can be decorated with a few bright fluttering butterflies, for example, draw them or cut them out as desired. An interesting gift for your favorite teacher is ready. Such an application will cause positive emotions, will make the teacher smile.
