Paper turtle - children's crafts

Bright and entertaining applique in the form of a turtle from paper - a craft for children, which can be done in two hours. The figure consists of several parts. Turtles are big and small, aquatic and terrestrial. And also everyone knows that they live a very long time, at least, so say the encyclopedias. Of course, living turtles are unsightly, they have a gray shell, and all the other unsightly parts of the body they often hide, at the slightest danger they protect themselves and hide in the house. But our turtle will be bright, though using brown colors. We will show the patterned shell and the rest of the body.
To create a turtle craft, prepare:

• cardboard and paper in bronze, brown, yellow;
• black marker;
• scissors;
• a simple pencil;
• glue.

[H3]How to make a turtle figure from paper with your own hands[/H3]

1. The bronze-colored cardboard will be the base of the shell. Prepare also scissors for cutting out all the parts.

2. On the back side of the prepared sheet of cardboard, draw an oval. Its size will set the parameters of the whole figure. The shell of the turtle is the main part, its house, where it lives. You can make it spacious, no one interferes with us. Cut out the oval with scissors. Now we need to decorate it.

3. Duplicate the bronze oval with a brown oval cut from paper. Reduce the size of the brown part compared to the original one, so that there is a gap. Using glue, apply the paper component to the cardboard.

4 Cut out some ovals from yellow paper. They are needed for decoration, i.e. to create a carved shell. Therefore, their size should be small. Glue the ovals on top of the carved shell, making a pattern.

5. With a black marker, draw ovals in the light-colored windows to decorate the shell. Of course, these details can be cut out of black paper and glued on top, but since the size is constantly decreasing, it will be difficult for children to work with such small blanks. The best way out is to use a marker. The color can be more than just black. Also take brown paper. On the back side, draw the outline of the head with neck, tail and 4 paws. Cut out all these 6 parts and use a marker to draw dots as well as eyes. You can see roughly what all these parts look like in photo 5. Their shape is quite simple.

6. Glue all 6 prepared parts from the bottom under the beautiful shell, which is already ready. We got a turtle that sticks out of its house. If you glue all the parts in this way, then, of course, the animal will not be able to hide the arms or legs, as well as the head.

If you plan to make a movable craft, you can think of another way to attach it. Cut several strips of paper. Glue them to the bottom of the shell by greasing only the ends. In the center (unglued) hole insert all the parts. Then the turtle will be able to move its head, legs and even its tail.
