Origami strawberry is a bright summer craft. To make it, consider the proposed scheme of easy assembly. Naturally, you need to use red paper to get a copy of a juicy, ripe berry. In the summer, of course, you can buy fresh berries or grow in your vegetable garden to try. But in winter with this will be a problem. But in winter there is a lot of free time, when you can do with children interesting origami creativity.
To create a small origami strawberry, prepare:
- one-sided red paper;
- a black pen or marker;
- scissors and a ruler.
How to make an origami berry
1. Cut a 20 cm by 20 cm square from the red paper, or use your own size. The back of the paper should be a different color, most likely you will have white. Although two-color paper (different on both sides) is sometimes available, if you manage to find a red and green version, it will be even more suitable.
2. Turn the square with the white side facing you.
3. Fold the square diagonally. Smooth out the curve clearly.
4. Then fold the resulting two-layer triangle again along the height. The rectangular isosceles triangle will appear in front of you again, but four-layered and four times smaller.
5. Straighten one part of the bent triangle to make a square. This procedure is shown in photo 5.
6. Turn the paper over with the other side facing you, smoothing out all the fold lines again.
7. Now fold the prominent sharp corner to make a square again with a slit in the center. This square will be layered.
8. Next, unfold the paper so that the two squares are layered on top of each other, with the concave sides touching inside between them.
9. In the resulting square, fold one corner away from you, only in the top layer as shown in photo 9. Thus, you will see the white part of the paper and also a slit in the center.
10. Fold the sharp corners of the white color, forming the tails of the strawberry. This is why it is desirable that the paper on the back side is green.
11. Fold the adjacent sides of the resulting square away from you again to make the berry shape narrower.
12. Fold the top tip toward you, making a small triangle. A part of red paper will be visible on the back side. Thus, you will get a shape resembling the desired strawberry, with a sepal at the top.
13. With a black pen or marker, draw small pips on a bright, appetizing berry. It is not forbidden to draw the white tail with a green pencil.
