Ginger cat paper applique

Cats are probably the most affectionate pets. If you pet them, they will immediately soothe and lull their beloved owner with their gentle purring. Restless children can be calmed only if you find them a wonderful activity that will be to their liking. Here is sitting next to a cat, why not depict it, using scissors and sheets. Inquisitive creators are always interested in mastering something with their own hands from paper. For example, it can be a bright applique in the form of the same cat. Thus, you can combine in one handicraft and the figure of the animal itself, and the good mood that will appear at the creator after he makes it and hears in his address praise.
To make a creative paper drawing, prepare:

• white cardboard;
• orange and black paper;
• any options for decorating the applique - sequins, rhinestones, flowers, beads, clippings from magazines;
• little scissors;
• glue.

1. Prepare cardboard and paper for work. You can buy white cardboard or take any sheet from a colored set. We suggest rounding the rectangular shape a little - cut off all the corners so that they turn into round protrusions. So the picture itself will look more interesting. From a large set of colored paper we suggest choosing orange and black sheets, because our plans include the creation of a ginger cat. But we will also decorate it with black stripes - we will get a wonderful pet, the color of which is something like a tiger. Red cats bring good luck, so we are preparing to make a mascot.

2. The proposed applique is made exclusively of paper circles, that is why it is unique. For work you need to prepare orange circles - 3 pieces. Cut them out using a template or drawing by hand. In this way, children will memorize this geometric shape.

3. Glue the first circle in the center of the white cardboard. This is the body of the fat kitten. On one side, glue the second circle to the body to show the head. And on the opposite side glue the tail. The last one is made in the form of a semicircle - just bend the desired detail in half. Or cut it with scissors.

4. Next are the paws - 4 identical black circles. Cut out the pieces and fold each one in half.

5. Glue the black colored semicircles from the bottom, putting them flat side down and half-arc side up. The cat figure already has all the main parts: head, body, tail and 4 paws.

6. Cut another black circle, but it should be scraped - cut into thin segments. Each segment is a strip on the cat's back.

7. Glue triangles on the back, on the tail, add a pair of pointy ears.
8. Finally, glue on the cat's eyes - simple paper or running, sparkling rhinestones are also suitable. Add whiskers - a few black strips. Now the purr-fect cat is ready. You got a beautiful red cat.

9. Decorate your applique with something bright and sparkling. Now you have a real picture made by your own hands.
