1. Cut an oval out of black paper. This will be the center part. The body of a polar bird can look like this. You can use sheets that are black on both sides or one-sided.

2. cut out another oval from white paper, but smaller, to fill the bottom of the dark oval. This will be the penguin's white breast - these are the features of the Arctic resident's coloring. And cut out 2 white identical circles for the eyes.

3. Now make the assembly of the first part of the craft. Initially you need to prepare a triangle-beak of orange color and pupils of black color. Also pupils can be drawn with a felt-tip pen, if it is difficult to cut out small parts. Glue the chest, glue the eyes on top of it. At the bottom between them glue the beak. Add or draw pupils.

4. And now the parts that will make the craft a gift for February 14 - the hearts. Cut out 2 identical black hearts for wings and 2 orange ones for paws. Beforehand, draw all the sketches with a pencil, then fold the paper and cut out 2 identical parts at a time.

5. Glue the wings and legs back in place. Now the applique is assembled. The penguin has turned out positive.
