We offer in this lesson an unusual craft - manigami guitar. This musical instrument, modeled from a real money bill, will be a great gift to a music lover, a person who is fond of music, rock or just a young person. To make a guitar in the origami technique, it is not enough to know how to fold paper, you still need to clearly imagine what this popular musical instrument looks like, without which no youth party, no grandiose concert. We need to show an oval body, a long fingerboard with stakes. Now let's consider in detail how to realize the idea.
For a unique guitar in this case, you will only need 1 bill.
The modeling steps are as follows
1. When you have decided on the size of the bill, smooth it out and lay it out in front of you. Highlight the center horizontal line by folding the bill lengthwise.
2. Return the banknote to its original position. Orient your further folding on this center line. Fold both wide sides of the rectangle along this line. Thus, now you will fold the banknote twice from one side and from the other side.
3. Turn the piece over with the blind side facing up. Bend the bill across in this position, but not exactly in the center, but 1-2 cm further away from it.
4. Unfold the last fold again. Leave the strip with the blind side up. Now make new folds, following the line you just marked. Fold in the sides at 45 degrees. First, bring the right side down in this way. You will get a right angle, but it will be beveled at the top.
5. Then do the same procedure with the second side. All folds should be carefully tucked in, their purpose is to highlight the subsequent folds.
6. Unfold the folds. The prepared strip will show a cross-shaped line in the center. With your fingers, press the sides inwards, highlighting the sharp corner, showing the inner triangles.
7. Leave the split side of the strip at the top, turn the other part in the opposite direction, docking the fold clearly with the base of the triangle.
8. Turn the top strip into a guitar lead. At the first folding step, make 2 horizontal folds absolutely parallel along the center crack. At the top (at the triangular layered fold) the paper will resist. Here you need to form small side triangles. Smooth out the resulting blank. Its outline already resembles something like the musical instrument we have chosen.
9. Now repeat the folding of the fingerboard. Once again fold the paper along the center line. This will make the fingerboard very tight.
10. Turn the guitar with the other side facing up. Make a zigzag line at the triangular fold as shown in the photo.
11. Wrap the top end of the paper inside, about 0.5 cm from the edge.
12. Press the sides inward with your fingers where the fingerboard connects to the body.
13. Make the corners of the hull more streamlined by smoothing them by pressing them underneath the bottom.
14. Now unfold the very tip of the fingerboard and make a zigzag fold, 1 cm from the edge. This is the outer part of the guitar with the pegs.
Manigami model guitar is ready.
