The manigami snake follows a simple assembly pattern, it will be quite long and wriggling, just like the real thing. This lesson is for big fans of collecting figures from real money. And bills choose at your discretion, which you have not yet used: rubles, hryvnias, dollars, euros and so on.
What you need to make a manigami craft in the form of a snake:

  • only 1 single bill of your choice;
  • work table - folding is conveniently performed on a hard surface.

How to make a snake out of money

1. Prepare the bill of sale. The rectangle can be smoothed with an iron or use a new paper, which is perfect for the work. Immediately different images of manigami connoisseurs will appear in your head.

2. Now carefully examine the suggested photos and their corresponding description to fold a real crawling snake. Initially, make an even fold along the rectangle.

3. Fold the resulting (twice as narrow a rectangle) again. Smooth the folds.

4. On one side you need to mark the narrow head of the snake. Highlight the corner first to the right by folding a small triangle.

5. Fold the same triangle, but in the opposite direction, folding another corner.

6. You will now see a cross-shaped line at the top. This is the line you should use as a guide. Lower down the upper part of the folded bill, orienting on the lower points of the folded lines of the cross-shaped bend. Then, holding the construction in this position, press inward the two upper corners, closing the strips in the center. Thus, in this part of the folded bill you should get a kind of multilayer triangle. The photo clearly shows how exactly to fold to get the desired part.

7. Bring the top corners of the triangle up and fold to the center. Smooth it out. Point the small corners downward to highlight the future ears of the snake.

8. The small corners mentioned in the previous point, now lift up. Smooth it out.

9. And bring them back down again, tucking the paper inwards with your finger. Make 2 pointed ears in this way.

10. Turn the resulting piece with the other side. Fold the paper aslantwise as shown in the photo.

11. Make 2 symmetrical folds on both sides, closing the sides at the center.

12- Now move on to the second side of the bill, which remains layered but flat for now.

13. Fold the two adjacent corners into a house, clearly aligning along the center line.

14. Turn the piece over. Fold one side lengthwise first, but go only to the center of the piece.

15. Then fold the second side in the same way with the center line.
16. The narrow, repeatedly folded structure already looks like the snake you are looking for. It is only necessary to bend it a little. First, lower down the side that serves as the head (it has sharp horns).
17. Then make several folds across along the body of the snake, obtaining a zigzag.
Press the bill in a characteristic way from the sides. All the curves on the snake's body will become smoother. If you take your fingers on both sides and start stretching the figure in different directions, then back, the snake will start to crawl, the design allows the product to spring.

18. Smooth out the head and again all the torso links to finish your interesting craft.
