Halloween crafts - pumpkin and ghost applique

Stages of paper appliqué
1. First of all, prepare everything you need for your work. When you open a whole art kit consisting of colored one- or two-sided sheets, you will see a variety of shades. Choose the ones you like the most. But some recommendations can still be given. For example, the pumpkin should be orange with a green tail, the ghost white, and all this will successfully combine with some dark background.

2. Cut out a rectangle for the background - the base of the applique. Let it be purple paper on which the white and orange details will not get lost.

3. Cut out an oval from orange paper, proportioning the size of the part with the parameters of the prepared rectangle - this will be the future pumpkin, it should not be too big or small.

4. With a black felt-tip pen or black pen, trace the outline of the pumpkin and the tail, and draw longitudinal stripes on the orange head.

5. Now take a piece of white paper, draw the outline of the head of the ghost (funny with a long tail on the head), cut out the part along the contour. At the same stage, formalize the smiling face. It should be small eyes and a mouth with sharp fangs. Such a ghost will not be afraid of anyone, it is wonderful, friendly.

6. Assemble the applique. You can even make it partly three-dimensional. To do this, cut out small hands for your ghost from white paper. Glue the pumpkin, put the white arms under the green tail at the top. Also glue the head of the ghost. Now you get the impression that the pumpkin is the centerpiece of the applique, and the ghost is peeking out from behind it.

7. Draw facial features on the pumpkin with a black felt-tip pen.
