Drawing a cat step by step

Cats are the most graceful and mysterious animals. They are real predators, but at the same time they look kind and affectionate. It is probably due to these qualities that they have become our favorite pets. We suggest drawing a cute kitty cat for kids with a simple pencil and easy step-by-step instructions.

Necessary materials for drawing:

• simple pencil
• piece of paper
• eraser

So that even beginners can repeat this pattern, we will describe everything step by step:

1. To begin with, schematically mark the head - draw two perpendicular lines. Then draw two arcs in such a way that the corners are formed at the joints.

2. On the basis of markings draw the contour of the head, paying special attention to the cheeks. Then draw details - ears, nose and mouth.

3. We will draw the eyes in two stages: first we will barely noticeably outline the eyelids, then we will draw pupils with small reflections in the upper part. It remains to add the whiskers and the face is almost ready!

4. outline the eyelids marked in the previous step and proceed to drawing the cat's body. Continue the vertical line marked in the first step. Around it draw an oval - it will be the chest, and below it - another oval, only more oblong - a preparation for the front legs.

5. Next, draw the back part of the torso as shown in the picture.

6. Draw the front and back paws, add a bent tail.

7. Finalize the drawing - brighten the contours, lightly paint the inside of the ears, pupils and tail, erase unnecessary elements.
