How to draw a cat with a simple pencil?

Many adults and children love to draw. If you are a novice artist, I recommend you to start creating with an ordinary pencil.

In my author's master class I will tell you how to depict a graceful cat looking at the viewer from behind step by step. Very often young authors face several problems at once when depicting animals:

- fails to capture the character;
- I can't get the pose right so that all the proportions are correct;
- to make the drawing more alive.

If you draw the picture step by step, repeating all my steps, you will not have any problems and you or your child will easily get the result that you are satisfied with.

So, everything we need to get creative:

• pencil;
• white eraser;
• a piece of paper.

The steps and stages of creating a drawing:

1. Draw the head, the symmetry line and the upper part of the torso.

2. Draw the lower part of the animal's back. Draw the facial features as shown in the picture.

3. Now you need to draw the back legs and work on the face.

4. Draw the beginning of the tail, complete the overall silhouette and muzzle.

5. Finish the tail and accents on the cat's head.

6. Add halftones and thicken the contour lines in some places. The image will immediately become more lively.
