Paper crocuses

Crocuses from corrugated paper, made with your own hands will undoubtedly give your interior a spring mood. How to make crocuses from paper by yourself? Very simple - just follow our step-by-step instructions.

So, first, let's prepare all the necessary materials:

- crepe or corrugated paper in green, white, yellow and pink colors;
- glue stick;
- any shade of thread;
- scissors;
- three pieces of thin wire.

Step 1

Create the petals of the crocuses. Cut a strip of crepe paper 8 cm long and 3 cm wide.

We fold the segment in triplicate.

Step 2

Twist the blank in the center. Then fold the resulting bow in half.

Step 3

Give the petal the right shape by stretching it to the sides. We should have a voluminous petal like this.

For one crocus flower we will need six such blanks. Make the required number of petals. Give them all a natural shape.

Step 4

Wrap each piece of wire with green crepe tape.

Now we need to create the stamens of the crocus. To do this, fold a small piece of yellow crepe paper like this.

Step 6

Make small incisions along the entire length of the blank.

Next, wind the blank around the end of the flower stalk of the crocus.

Work the bottom of the stamens with green crepe paper.

Step 7

Before we start attaching the petals to the stem, cut off the bottom corners of each petal.

Attach the first petal like this.

Then attach two more symmetrically.

Fix all the petals with thread. The inner part of the flower is ready.

Step 9

Next, attach the other three petals in the same way as described above.

The first crocus flower is ready. Gather two more flowers.

Step 10

Using a strip of green crepe paper wrap around the flower stalks of the crocuses.

Step 11

Now all that's left to do is cut out a few leaves and attach them to the stems.

That's it, the corrugated paper crocuses are ready!
