Paper chrysanthemums

You can diversify the boring interior of your apartment with the help of paper flowers. Such decorative elements will give your interior individuality and special style.

In this master class we will show how to make an original chrysanthemum from corrugated paper with your own hands.

So, we must prepare the following materials for the future chrysanthemum:

- scissors;
- wire;
- pencil;
- crepe paper in dark pink, light pink and green shades;
- glue stick;
- green colored paper.

Step 1

Cut a strip of crepe paper in a light pink shade.

Step 2

On the piece, create a sketch of the chrysanthemum petals.

Then fold the paper tape seven or eight times. The sheet with the outline of the petals should remain on top.

Cut out the blanks along the contour.

Arrange the blanks of the obtained petals.

The main petals of the flower are ready, and now we need to create small petals that will be in the center of the flower. To make them, we chose a darker shade.

Step 4

These petals are created in the same way as the main petals. First, fold a piece of crepe paper several times.

Then we draw an outline on the top layer of paper and cut out the blanks.

The petals are like this.

Next, give them the desired shape. Stretch each petal in the center and then twist their ends.

Do this with all the blanks.

Step 6

Now you can start creating the bud. Cut some dark-colored crepe ribbon, fold it in four times, apply glue to the tip and wrap it on the wire.

Next, start gluing the petals. First glue the inner petals and then the main ones.

Step 8

The bud is ready, and now we need to trim the pedicel with crepe paper of green shade.

Step 9

Use green colored paper to create sepals. Fold a piece of green paper in half and then in half and cut out miniature leaves.

Step 10

Attach them to the base of the bud with glue. The lower part of the sepals is covered with green crepe paper.

Next, create a chrysanthemum leaf. Fold a piece of green double-sided paper in half. Draw the outline of the leaf on top and cut it out.

Lay the piece out and give it a natural shape. Then glue it to the stem.

Step 12

Let's spread the chrysanthemum petals.
