A Grinch made of colored paper

From various cartoons and movies, many people know that the green creature with a scary and echidic face can only be the Grinch, who time and again seeks to steal the favorite holiday from the whole planet.

Such an original craft for the New Year will give pleasant memories of the movie "Stolen Christmas", and maybe even encourage the whole family to watch it again.

Materials needed:

[INDENT]- one sheet each of double-sided paper or half-cardboard in red, white, and green;
- a stapler with staples;
- stationery glue;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- black felt-tip pen[/INDENT].

Stages of making New Year's crafts:

1. First we're going to make the Grinch's body. It will be red in color. So take a sheet of paper or semi-cardboard of this shade and draw on it a rectangle with parameters 12 x 8 cm.

2. Cut it with scissors along the marked lines.

3. Fold horizontally.

4. Securely staple the ends with a stapler, making two presses in different places.

5. The base for the torso is ready. Now let's proceed to the next step.

6. On the green paper mark the silhouette of our hero's head with a simple pencil. For convenience, you can take a picture from a movie or cartoon and redraw it on paper.

7. Using a pencil, transfer the Grinch's facial features from the picture. Remove unnecessary lines with an eraser. Next, use a marker to trace all the lines.

8. Make a New Year's hat out of red and white paper. Then glue it to the head.

9. Cut out a beard from white paper. Glue it to the back of the head. As soon as everything dries, glue the head with the hat and beard to the body.

10. Now we make the legs: draw two elongated triangles on green paper and then cut them out with scissors.

11. Folding the bases.

12. On the bent parts, apply a bit of stationery glue and attach to the inside of the Grinch's torso.

13. Since the legs are ready, let's move on to making the arms. To do this, cut out a rectangle of red paper. Bend it in half and draw this figure, as shown in the photo. Then cut along the marked lines.

14. Open the blank.

15. From white paper cut out a detail for the Grinch's New Year costume, and from green paper cut out the character's arms. Glue everything from the back of the blank.

16. Make incisions in the torso on the sides from the top.

17. Insert our finished arms into the slots.

18. And now the evil and treacherous Grinch from colored paper is ready.
