This nocturnal bird, which everyone calls an owl, will not scare you away with its big eyes and frightening look, because love and joy shine in its eyes. Today we will tell you how you can make it with your own hands.

To make a colored paper owl we will need:

[INDENT]- double-sided heavyweight paper in bright yellow and black;
- stationery glue;
- a simple pencil;
- scissors;
- ruler[/INDENT]

Stages of making a craft in the form of an owl:

1. Make the body of the owl. It will be black, but you can take any other shade of colored double-sided paper for your bird. So, measure on the sheet such parameters: horizontally - 12 cm, vertically - 10 cm. Then cut out with scissors.

2. Roll the rectangle into a tube. Fasten the edges with any stationery glue or stapler.

3. Bend the upper sides of the tube so that the bird's ears are formed.

4. The blank for the craft is ready.

5. Let's start decorating the owl. First of all, we will make its eyes. Cut out large circles of the same size from white paper and two hearts from black paper for the centers of the eyes.

6. Glue large white circles on top of the torso and black hearts on top of them.

7. Now let's make a tummy for our owl. It will be yellow in color. So take paper of this color and cut out a large circle.

8. Glue the cut-out circle on the body of the bird.

9. The owl lacks a beak on its face, with which it could eat. So let's start this process immediately. To do this, take bright yellow heavy paper and cut out a small rectangle of 3.5 x 1 cm.

10. Fold a rectangle in half and, having drawn triangles, cut out with scissors.

11. Glue the beak near the eyes with stationery glue.

12. Paws will be made of yellow half-cardboard. To do this, first draw them with a simple pencil, and then cut them out according to the outlined silhouette.

13. Bend the legs a little. Glue in the middle of the body.

14. Our owl lacks only one thing - wings. Since our bird is not a real bird, but a cartoon, then, accordingly, the wings will be the same. Cut out a rectangle, fold, draw a silhouette of wings on black heavy paper, cut out with scissors.
