Paper bow

Today we will show how to make bows from colored paper with your own hands.
For this simple craft it is better to use medium weight paper, as cardboard can be worse.

To begin with, it is necessary to prepare such material and tools:

The process of making a paper bow itself:

So, we're going to need a regular square piece of paper.

You can use one-sided colored paper, or you can buy special origami paper that is colored on both sides.

Such a sheet should be carefully folded along the diagonals, ironing the resulting fold lines.

Then fold all sides of the sheet in half (horizontally and vertically).

We made fold lines like this to fold the sheet into a small rhombus.

Gently fold the top of the rhombus downward.

After unfolding the sheet in its original position, we will see that the sheet has lines like these.

The lines form a square in the center of the sheet. Now fold it into the inside of the piece and press the lines in well!

Next, the edges of the figure should be folded to the center of the rhombus.

Do the same simple steps on the other side as well.

That's how the blank should turn out!

Next, after these steps, lay out the workpiece again.

You will see the main part of the bow appear in the center.

Flip the piece over to the back side to cut it along the fold lines.

After the top of the rhombus is lowered to the bottom.

And the edges of the side edges, fold to the marked line.

In the center of the bottom parts of the craft make a cut.

Fold the edges inward.

Turning the craft with the colored side to itself we will see that the bow is almost ready and there are only a few final stages left.

Cut the ends where you can see the back (white) side of the paper evenly.

But if you want, with the design of the strips you can experiment and cut them in your own way.

The last, final step in creating the bow is left. The sides should be folded to the main part of the bow. Tuck the pointed ends under the central square.

Do the same on the right side.

The paper bow is ready.
