An elephant made of colored paper

This paper craft in the form of a pink elephant is very easy to make.
It can decorate the interior or become a gift made with your own hands.

Materials needed:

[INDENT]- pink double-sided half-cardboard;
- decorative paper with pink florals;
- stationery glue;
- black marker;
- a simple pencil;
- scissors;
- ruler[/INDENT]

Stages of making a craft:

1. cut a rectangle of 16 x 11 cm from pink double-sided half-cardboard.

2. Fold it in half.

3. Draw the silhouette of the elephant with a simple pencil. You can draw from the photo in this workshop or draw your own elephant. Your elephant may have a wider or thinner trunk.

4. Follow the pencil lines with scissors. The elephant's torso is ready. The only thing missing is the big ears, as is typical for real elephants.

5. Let's start making the ears. Take a colored half-cardboard in the shade of the body and cut out a rectangle of 12 x 6 cm.

6. Fold the blank in half.

7. Draw an ear silhouette on one of the parts with a simple pencil.

8. Cut out with scissors.

9. Open the blank. And there, a pair of ears for our pink elephant is ready!

10. In order to insert the ears into the elephant, it is necessary to make one slit. Take a ruler and a simple pencil. Measure the necessary length for the slit and carefully draw a line.

11. Use scissors to make a slit. Now you can insert the ears of our elephant into it. If they don't go in completely, make the slit even bigger.

12. With a black marker draw a big beautiful eye with eyelashes on our elephant. You can also add other small details on the craft.

13. Also the craft lacks a mat so that a person could sit on the elephant and it would be convenient for him to move for long distances. Also such an element will be a great addition to our elephant. Take decorative paper with flowers and cut out a rectangle of 6 x 3 cm.

14. Make a vertical fold in the middle.

15. Carefully glue it on the elephant. The colored paper elephant is ready!
