A cat made of colored paper

Black cat from paper would be sad and gloomy if not for the bright details: tail and ears with hearts, a big bow, long whiskers. This craft from paper will serve as a great opportunity to occupy your baby for a while while you can rest or do something important. In addition, you can join your child and together make this volumetric applique with your own hands from paper. And believe me, this time will not be wasted!

Materials needed:

[INDENT]- white, pink and black double sided half board;
- plastic eyes;
- a stapler with staples;
- shaped hole punch;
- a simple pencil;
- white pencil;
- stationery glue;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- black marker[/INDENT]

Stages of making a cat:

1. Take black double-sided half-cardboard. Draw a rectangle with sides 8 x 12 cm with a white pencil and a ruler.

2. Cut it out with scissors.

3. Roll the black rectangle into a tube. Fix the sides with a stapler. You will get the body of our black cat.

4. With a white pencil draw a semi-oval at the bottom of the tube. When we cut it out, we will get the cat's paws.

5. Cut it out. Paws are ready!

6. Cut out a large circle and two small triangles from black double-sided cardboard.

7. Glue plastic eyes to the center of the circle.

8. Then glue triangles on the back side one by one. These will be the ears.

9. Making antennae. Cut out 2 narrow rectangles of white paper and cut it very thin. Glue it on the sides just below the eyes.

10. Cut out a circle from pink double-sided half-cardboard. This will be the nose for our kitten. Glue it in the middle.

11. Also from this sheet of half-cardboard cut out a mouth. It can have any shape.

12. Decorate the middle of the ears with hearts. To do this, we will need a shaped hole punch. We press it 2 times and get 2 hearts.

13. Glue on the desired places.

14. The face is ready! Now you can glue it to the body.

15. Make a tail. To do this, cut a thin strip from black double-sided cardboard. It is desirable that it should be long. Also use a hole punch to make 4 hearts on the pink paper.

16. Tuck in our tail.

17. Glue the hearts on its tip. It will turn out very original and beautiful!

18. Apply glue to the other end of the strip and glue it to the back of the cat.

19. Our kitten lacks an attractive detail on his torso. So we should add a colorful accent. Like a big paper bow. Cut it out of pink double-sided half-cardboard.

20. Draw lines on the bow with a black marker. Glue it on. Our cat from colored paper is ready!
