Bird from colored paper with your hands

To make a bird from paper we will need these materials:

[INDENT]- Light peach, yellow, bright yellow, orange and red double sided half board;
- ruler;
- scissors;
- plastic eyes;
- a simple pencil;

Stages of making a bird from paper:

1. Make the body of the bird. For this you will need strips cut out of multi-colored double-sided paper. The width of each will be 2 cm. The length of the red strip - 12 cm, orange - 11 cm, bright yellow - 10 cm, yellow - 9, light peach - 8 cm.

2. Make rings out of them. The largest will be red and the smallest will be light peach.

3. Start connecting them to each other. Take a red ring and glue an orange one in the middle of it.

4. Next attach bright orange, yellow, and light peach.

5. And now, the body for the bird is ready!

6. Make a tail. Cut out strips of half-cardboard. The tail, as well as the body of the bird, will be, of course, multicolored. The width of the strips is standard for all, namely - 2 cm. The length of the light peach strip will be 8 cm, yellow - 7 cm, bright yellow - 6 cm, orange - 5 cm, red - 4 cm.

7. Glue our different colored pieces one by one. You will get a beautiful smooth transition from light pastel color to rich red.

8. Use a pen or marker to tuck the tail of the bird.

9. Glue it with glue at the bottom of the torso.

10. Next, we start making the head. You will need a red strip of 6 x 2 cm and an orange strip of 8 x 2 cm. In addition, a piece of yellow double-sided half-cardboard 4 x 2 cm to make a beak and plastic eyes.

11. Make rings out of the strips. Then connect them to each other. You will get the head of the bird.

12. Make a beak from the yellow piece. Horizontally bend it in half.

13. Draw lines with a simple pencil.

14. Cut out with scissors along the marked lines.

15. Fold along the dotted lines.

16. Glue it to the head.

17. Then attach the plastic eyes just above the beak.

18. Glue the head to the body. It is necessary to hold the pieces firmly so that they are well fixed. At this stage, the colored paper bird is ready!
