A turtle made of colored paper

Turtles are very funny creatures that surprise us all the time. Who would have thought that such slow animals can easily go without food for about 5 years! And they live a long time. As much as 150 years!

To make a turtle from paper, we need these materials:

- stationery glue;
- a pair of plastic peepholes;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- black marker;

Manufacturing Stages:

1. Let's start making the shell of our paper turtle. To do this, take blue and green double-sided half-cardboard and cut off 4 strips identical horizontally, but different vertically. They will have the parameters: 14 x 1 cm, 14 x 2.5 cm, 14 x 4 cm and 14 x 5.5 cm.

Make rings out of them. Start with the base of the shell, namely the thinnest strip. Fasten its ends with glue.
Do the same with the next segments.

4. When the blanks are ready, you can start modeling the shell. On the thinnest ring insert the next one in width. And so on. Outwardly, it will resemble a pyramid.

5. Now we make the body. To do this, you will need blue double-sided half-cardboard. Cut a long strip from it, the width of which will be 2 cm.

6. One end of the segment will be the tail.

7. Make a fold in the middle of the strip. Twist one end.

Glue this strip to the bottom of our pyramid

8. Glue plastic eyes on the face.

9. Use scissors to correct the face. Draw the missing details on the face.

10. Make paws. To do this, cut out 2 pairs of rectangles from blue double-sided half-cardboard. Width - 1 cm, length - 4 cm.

11. Fold a couple of times to make an accordion. Twist the rest of it. Do the same with the rest of the pieces.

12. Put glue on the folds and glue to the shell. And there, the turtle from colored paper is ready!
