Paper Water Lotus

Master class of flower from paper "Water lotus".

This paper lotus can be easily and quickly made with your own hands, it is very beautiful and not very complicated, so you can make it even together with a small child.

To make the Lotus we'll need:

- PVA glue.
- threads.
- ruler.

To get started, we need to make templates. Our flower will need 4 kinds of petals and leaves. Small petals in the size of 3,5x6 cm 2 pieces, medium - 4x7,5 cm in the amount of two, large - 4,5x9 cm - 3, very large - 5,5x11 cm - three, and leaves we need 4,5x9 cm 3 pieces.

Let's start working with small petals. Take a blank for a petal and bend one corner.

Bend the neighboring corner. Try to fold so that the edges are even.

Bend the opposite corners in the same way.

On the front side we make strokes on which we will fold the edges.

We will fold the edges one by one.

Fold the resulting blank in half. With the wide edges facing down.

Take the thread, and tie the resulting boat.

Turn the blank with the wrong side, i.e. with the corners bent towards you and the wide edges downwards, and use the fingers of your hand to gently bend the petal inwards. Carefully spread all sides so that the cup is formed.

From one double petal we tear off a half, one cup, and glue it to the two combined cups. For this we use PVA glue. When the glue dries, then we will have the middle of the flower.

Make the second row of the flower. To do this, we take the middle petals. We have 2 of them. Taking them in our hands, tie them both with thread. Align the sides of the workpiece.

Bend the petals of the blank to make cups. We have the 2nd row with 4 petals.

Glue the second row to the first row. And let it dry well.

The third row will consist of 3 blanks. For this, we will take the large petals. Straighten all sides of the future petals.

Straighten the cups in the same way as before.

Glue all three rows together. And let it dry.

For the 4th row, we will take the largest sized blanks. We will need 3 of them. Bend the cups.

Glue the 4th row to the already formed base. And let it dry well.

Begin to make leaves, they will be the same size as the large petals, that is, 4.5x9 cm. And bend all four corners. Turn it face up.

Glue the 2nd sheet on top of it.

And glue the 3rd sheet in the same way, the most important thing is that all the corners of the sheets were directed in different directions.

Glue the finished flower on top of the leaves. Let the glue dry well. That's it, our lotus is ready.
