Simple New Year's toys with your own hands

It's a sad fall outside. The day has become short and quite often pours cold, sad rain. How to entertain the little fidgeter to pass the time with usefulness and interest, and not to fall into an autumn moping? It's very simple.

The most magical holiday of the year - New Year - is approaching. Soon all storefronts will be filled with various bright lanterns, lights, tinsel and toys, which are not cheap. So why not together with a small child to transfer this very magic and fill your home with a holiday, sew New Year's toys with their own hands from the most common tools that every housewife has? Time spent with your favorite baby is priceless. You will be incredibly close to this wonderful, interesting and exciting process, and the end result will cause admiration not only for your baby, but also for the guests who drop by the light in your fairy tale.

Toys made by your own hands and hands of the baby will be much more expensive than store toys, because they will be made with love and soul, which can not buy for any money. Such toys will fill your home not only with warmth, coziness, give a fabulous mood, but also will last for many years.

To make Christmas toys we will need:

[INDENT]- felt (or the most common soft kitchen napkins);
- Synthesizer (or the most common medical absorbent cotton);
- buttons, beads, beads;
- ribbons;
- needle, thread, scissors;

You don't need to get fancy and buy expensive felt and syntepon, they can be replaced with ordinary household items. For example, felt can be replaced by ordinary soft kitchen napkins, which are available in almost every home, or you can buy them in the supermarket. They are much cheaper than felt, and, of course, they are not so bright, but do not forget that the toy will be covered with ribbons, beads and buttons and the toy will be rich, bright and beautiful. Syntepon can be replaced by the most common medical absorbent cotton or take out the "insides" of an old, worn-out soft toy, which you were going to throw away.

So, the way to make the toy.

1. Draw a sketch of the toy you want to sew, for example a Christmas tree, on a piece of paper. Cut it out.

2. Put the sketch of the herringbone on the firth, trace and cut out 2 pieces (front and back side of the herringbone).

3. On the front side of the Christmas tree nashivayut buttons, beads, beads, or from the felt of another color New Year's balls (who likes what) as well as thread embroider snowflakes.

4. Sew the two parts of the Christmas tree with the outer seam, leaving a small hole for the inner filling of the toy. Do not try to sew with machine stitch and get upset if it is not quite even, because sloppiness will add some charm to the toy and it will be beautiful in its own way. Remember: this is what the artist intended, and the artist is you.

5. In the remaining hole, put synthetic foam or absorbent cotton, evenly spread the filling.Sew.

6. Sew a ribbon bow on the top of the spruce.
Our toy is ready. To it you can sew a loop (from the same ribbon) to hang on the Christmas tree, or sew a skewer at the bottom, so that you can insert into a vase with a flower, or glue the back on double-sided tape to the cabinet, window or mirror. On the same scheme you can draw a variety of toys: bunnies, houses, socks, mittens. Toys are sewn very simple and easy. It is enough to turn on your imagination!
